Body Scrub
This easy to make body scrub fragrance to your liking is a must have for your bathroom routine
Itβs packed with exfoliating goodness to scrub away dead skin cells. Coconut oil to soothe and soften the skin.
Measure out salts and sugar in a bowl then add the coconut oil and mix well. Add your favorite fragrance oil and thoroughly combine.
Mix together:
100g Epsom Salts
100g Fine Sea Salt
80g Granulated Sugar
50g Coconut Oil (or oil of your choice)
2.5mL Fragrance Oil
You can purchase your favorite fragrance from our website or you can use any skin safe essential oils or leave this unscented.
You can also add honey or any herbs or botanicals to customize your scrub.
Soothing Foot Soak
Try this foot soak recipe to help relieve tired feet.
Mix together:
1/4 cup Epsom Salts
1/4 cup Bicarb Soda
2 Table Spoon Citric Acid (Or you can use lemon juice instead)
5 drops of Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil
You can purchase your favorite fragrance from our website or you can use any skin safe essential oils or leave this unscented.
You can also add honey or any herbs or botanicals to customize your foot soak.
Deodorising Foot and Shoe Powder
This quick and easy deodorising powder can help neutralise foot odour, contains essential oils with disinfecting, antifungal and antibacterial properties, and will leave feet feeling cool and fresh.
Mix together:
60g Arrowroot powder (found in the baking section of the supermarket)
60g Sodium Bicarbonate
10 drops Lavender oil
10 drops Sage Oil
15 drops Peppermint Oil
(Lavender can be switched for Rosemary or Eucalyptus if preferred)
It can then be dusted on the feet or sprinkled in the shoes.
Deodorant Recipe
Tea tree has antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, making it an excellent oil for stopping odor causing bacteria in its tracks. Essential oils with Astringent properties such as Rosemary or Lemon could help to reduce sweating. Clary Sage is a strong antibacterial and deodorant as well as good for soothing for the skin. Peppermint is another good option with its cooling properties as well as its antimicrobial benefits. Lemongrass, Lavender, Eucalyptus Peppermint, Thyme, Bergamot, Orange, Lime and Mandarin are all also great options when it comes to fending off those unwanted odours. So why not try keeping fresh naturally this summer.
Here is a natural deodorant recipe you might like to try:
1/4 Cup Witch hazel
1/8 Cup Distilled Water
1 tbsp Bicarb Soda
1 tbsp Arrow Root powder
1 tsp Magnesium Chloride flakes
1/4 tsp Xanthum gum (to thicken β optional)
10 drops essential oil
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly until combined and pour it into a roll on bottle.
